Scones
A small unsweetened or lightly sweetened biscuit-like cake and sometimes having added fruit. They also may have a drizzled sweet topping on them. The scone is believed to have been introduced in the early 1500’s as a Scottish scone. They are often eaten along with coffee and tea.
